
Following relevant Network Rail standards such as 019, SMS, TRK6100 etc. Ensuring I have the current version available electronically and utilising them while carrying out pre planned maintenance, renewal activities and fault finding on various signalling equipment.
Using various Network Rail apps to facilitate performance such as MyWork, InfoCentre, SPS, SigMaint and Sentinel.
Verifying, setting up and implementing Safe Systems of Work for both maintenance and Incident Response, delivering safety briefings prior to work starting and having ongoing discussions about safety during work with the entire workgroup.
Identifying potential issues during routine maintenance and fault finding, documenting and reporting those findings to allow rectification and prevent bigger issues. For example; raising WAIF’s and filling in record cards accurately.
Using tools for their intended purpose and making sure they are also fit for use by carrying out function checks and checking for correct calibration.
