A highly motivated and safety-conscious individual with proven experience in the rail industry, seeking a challenging driving position. My background in track maintenance, signaling has instilled in me a strong work ethic, a meticulous attention to detail, and a deep understanding of operational procedures and safety regulations. I am now eager to transition my skills and experience into the driving profession, where I can leverage my commitment to precision and responsibility in a new and dynamic environment. My driving career began with operating 7.5-tonne lorries, gaining valuable experience in multi-drop deliveries and navigating various road conditions. I then progressed to a Class 2 driver role, further developing my skills in handling larger vehicles and adhering to strict schedules. This experience provided a solid foundation in road safety, vehicle maintenance, and logistical awareness. Seeking a new challenge and a different career path, I then transitioned to the railway industry, where I have been for the last 20 years. I have recently sat the CPC Driving Qualification and also hold a digi-tacho card.
