- Whilst working at Carlin construction and JP Ashley I have had the opportunity to develop my skills in many areas of construction, I have experience in brick and block work, stone work, renovations, new builds, block paving, repairs and re-pointing
- I was personally selected to solo build a luxury residential property in North West London During this project I worked directly under the company director in which resulted in developing my communication skills as I was required to have meetings with the company director, architect and client as well as running my team and managing subcontractors with the acting roll of working foreman involved in overseeing the whole project My duties included ordering materials, overcoming design and build issues, overseeing concrete pours, overcoming many challenges with regards to tight access working out many challenges regarding superstructure as a whole I have also gained experience in underpinning, loose bar and mesh reinforcement and basements/swimming pool construction
- I particularly enjoy decorative brick work as I am very particular when it comes to detail I always enjoy a challenge and am very keen to learn new skills
- I came first in the inter college bricklaying competition 2015 at Lincoln College
