RELEVANT HORTICULTURAL EXPERIENCE

Many years practical hands-on horticultural experience, working through designing and planting new beds, soil improvement, irrigation and maintenance. Using organic and no-dig type practices to dramatically improve soil health and insect populations. Fencing, hedging, tree work and lawn care.

Member of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS).

Specialist interest in wild bees Bombus all varieties.

Expert back-up available at home when required from my partner who is a garden designer and qualified horticulturist. We work side by side in our gardens 7 days a week.

3 years previous experience of volunteering at Burghfield Sailing Club, coaching 6-16 year olds in sailing on the water and the associated shorebased activities. Working alongside both full-time staff and specific subject matter experts to devise and deliver the sail training programme. Hands-on in all weathers, getting wet and having a lot of fun helping others to build confidence and competence.
