I am a passionate and business-minded music industry professional with a strong foundation in both the creative and commercial sides of music. I graduated with First Class Honours in Music Production and Sound Engineering from Point Blank Music School, equipping me with a deep technical understanding of music and the ability to relate to artists as a musician myself. Currently working as a Copyright Analyst at AMRA, I manage global catalogue ingestion, supporting efficient royalty distribution and maximising value for songwriters and publishers. Alongside my publishing experience, I’ve independently grown a TikTok account to over 50,000 followers, using it to successfully promote a music project and build direct-to-fan engagement. With a genuine love for discovering new talent and a long-term ambition to work in A&R and artist development, I bring a proactive, detail-oriented, and creatively attuned approach to every project I take on.
As a Copyright Analyst at AMRA, the Independent Global Digital Music Collection Society, I am responsible for the ingestion and management of both writer and publisher song catalogues. My role involves ensuring metadata accuracy and streamlining ingestion workflows to maximise the efficiency and value of royalty collection for our client creators. I work closely with internal teams to identify and resolve data discrepancies, contributing to the integrity of the global rights management ecosystem. Through this, I help improve the quality, scalability, and speed of catalogue onboarding, ultimately enhancing the transparency and effectiveness of royalty distribution for songwriters and music publishers worldwide.
During my six-week placement with music producer and sync composer James King, I gained invaluable commercial insight into the music sync industry, particularly focusing on PRS (Performing Right Society) and PPL (Phonographic Performance Limited) processes. This role provided a hands-on experience in navigating the intricacies of music licensing.
