I am really keen to find my first employed job. I enjoyed my volunteer work for my Duke of Edinburgh and I always enjoy learning new skills.
I am a very motivated, determined, enthusiastic and eager person. I am good at communicating with adults, as well as children. I am a good member of a team, I am polite and keen to learn.
This volunteer work was part of my Duke of Edinburgh award. I attended weekly sessions and supported the youth workers. My tasks included setting up and packing up, organising activities for the children, supervising them and taking money in the shop. I learnt how to use a till and was able to do this confidentially. I was also a positive role model for the children who attended to the club.
I had positive feedback from the other youth workers.
This was volunteer work for my Duke of Edinburgh award. I supported the library staff with the summer reading challenge, by listening to the children that were completing the summer reading challenge and helping keep records of their progress. I listened to the children read, asked them questions on the books that they had read then made records of this and gave out there awards.
