When teaching netball to students in year 7s through to year 10s, i modified my style to fit the players growing abilities, self assurance and game knowledge. The goal for year 7 students is to develop their important but simple skills to set a base for their netball future. For example their footwork, passing and basic placement whilst maintaining a fun and enjoyable environment to foster their passion for netball. When i taught these girls i made set plays, communication techniques and allowed them to understand their responsibilities for their position. For year 8s and 9s, the players were often more structured and prepared for hard drills, tactical awareness and overall teamwork. I worked with the year 9s to create a unbreakable bond with their teammates to make sure that they understand each players way of making a game of netball work. For the Year 10 students i mainly focused on fitness and competitive match play, doing this they became stronger as a team and worked there way through many leagues as they had the team bonding and young fitness. I created a supportive environments where all of the players i coached felt safe and confident to enjoy the sport and gain self esteem when getting awarded throughout their time.

When i coached at my gymnastics club i was a side coach so i helped with routines and all of the equipment for example floor work, bars and vault. I loved working with the young children and allowing them to explore their love for gymnastics.
