Summary

As an LLB (Hons) graduate, I have developed a sturdy foundation of basic legal knowledge spanning various core areas of law, namely, criminal, tort, property, trusts, and contract law. My degree also enabled me to develop knowledge in further areas of law that I am particularly interested in, for example, family, refugee, intellectual property, and EU law. During my studies I have cultivated a genuine interest in the intricacies of legal practice, and find myself eager to deliver a meaningful contribution to the field.

My commitment to excellence can be demonstrated by the various academic achievements I have accumulated over my schooling career. Achieving high results in my GCSE's during high school won me 'Highest Achiever' in the boy category, as well as specific subject awards in History, Biology, and Computer Science. Similarly, for achieving consistently high results for my A levels I was awarded a subject award in Politics and Government by my Sixth Form.

Beyond academics, I pride myself in the myriad of extracurricular activities I engage in, many of which I find enhance my core legal skills. This includes regular badminton sessions and occasional meetups with the university's quiz society, both of which enhancing coordination and teamwork. During my time at university, I was quite involved with the chess society, which has augmented my judgement, as well as critical thinking and decision-making under harsh time constraints. My degree has facilitated numerous opportunities both in and out of the classroom to partake in mooting exercises, allowing me to engage in legal debate under competitive rules, something I found to be incredibly enjoyable.

Now having completed my degree, I am excited to explore other avenues of honing my legal knowledge and advocacy skills, with the next logical step of achieving this dream of mine being to accumulate credible legal experience from within an actual law firm. Driven by a genuine passion for law and social justice, I am ready to contribute my skills and enthusiasm to a legal environment where I can hopefully make a meaningful impact for many people.
