This included timing walks to the minute to make sure they were not unachievable. Physically re-framing the walk at the frame to make it as effective as possible including taking into account if the duty needs a trolley or high capacity to make it as effective as it can be. My input has led to pouch boxes being added or taken away as a result of their effectiveness to make the route as viable as possible, On any given working day I will help colleagues tie down frames effectively. Mark areas on walks where bags would go to make their day easier and or lighter. Highlight with my extensive knowledge of each duty where dangerous dogs may be an issue or any other dangers/problems that they may encounter. I keep a personal data base of codes for buildings that allow us entry and receive phone calls from colleagues on a daily basis who have forgotten and/or simply do not know the specific code. It has been said around the office that I am seen as the unofficial workplace coach and first touch base for many individuals simply because of my relaxed and good mannered, sensible approach to the job. Others find me easy to talk to, helpful and sincere, no matter how trivial or silly the question or request may be. I have been trusted to train new recruits on many occasions, showing them all aspects of the job they will be required to do shadowing them around both the internal office duties and out on the actual street delivering.
