At present, I work as a Primary School Supply School Teacher and a part-time tutor. I enjoy helping children on a one-to-one basis, finding their strengths and helping them to complete the work that they find challenging. It is a role where I often have to think on my feet, change what I have planned to accommodate situations, and gain trust from both the children and their parents. I have to provide a professional service and keep up to date with the frequently changing legislation and curriculum aims and assessments.
Additionally, I have built up my own tutoring practice successfully over the last two years to the point where I have a waiting list. I have tutored students individually, improving attainment levels and increasing their confidence using a holistic approach where each lesson is planned for their individual needs.
