• Part of a 3 man Team providing Security at the residence of Prince Edward his Wife Sophie and their Family. Provided a uniformed presence to ensure the safety of residents and staff within the estate.
• Performed foot patrols on a large country Estate, preventing trespassing and unwanted encroachment by Media etc. Facilitate the safe arrival and departure of the Principal and his Armed Security Team.
• Work Shifts including nights, First Aid Trained including Defibrillator. Officer safety trained.
• Carried out Health and Safety risk assessments to reduce potential hazards involving the day to day movements of the principals

After joining I served a 2year Probationary period at Hounslow Police Station where as a team member worked Early, Late and Night shifts. I attended Road Traffic Accidents, Scenes of Crime, arrested and dealt with offenders and participated in all other aspects of Police work for example, dedicated plain clothes Crime Squads, Traffic Patrols, investigator on Murder squads and Policing football matches in West London etc.

After six years at Hounslow I transferred to Ealing and Acton Borough where i served for another 6 years, on a uniformed Team involved in day to day emergency response to protect the public, again working shifts including nights.

In 1994 i applied for a role on the Diplomatic Protection Group, operating out of Kensington Base. I was firearms trained and carried Glock 17, Heckler and Koch MP5 and Taser. I provided uniformed static protection at Iconic buildings throughout London, such as the American Embassy. I worked at the G8 Summit at Gleneagles in 2007 and was trained as a Residential Protection Officer performing plain clothed security looking after foreign dignitaries staying in London. I served for 31 years before retiring in 2012 .
