Warehouse Operative

My time at Birchalls Food Service I used a lolop truck and a scanner gun to pick orders into metal cages and onto pallets ready for dispatch. At the start of the shift general truck checks are a must. Use of shrink wrap to keep pallets secure on the back of wagons so that the goods are kept in good condition for customers. At the end of the night, I did warehouse maintenance varying from jobs like sweeping up, bailing of cardboard, stock tidy up and empty pallet collection.

The Big Home Shop

My time working at the home shop, I worked in the physio side sorting out gym equipment for orders during the day. The jobs i did throughout the day are:

• Picking
• Packing
• Warehouse maintenance
• Replenishment

Labourer

My time as a Labourer I had plenty of tasks throughout the day with some of them being:

• Bring tools when needed
• Correct use of PPE
• Cleaning up work areas
• Helping with assemble jobs
• Inventory check
• Prepping of jobs

During my time at WHSmiths I worked as a sales assistant and a stock controller.

Stock Control

As a stock controller I multiple jobs:

• Taking deliveries
• Checking goods
• Organizing stock
• Restocking shelves

Sales Assistant

As a sales assistant at WHSmiths I had various tasks such as:

• Making toasties,paninis and brews
• Helping out general customers
• Mopping the floors
• Maintaining and cleaning displays.
