Robert Emmott

• At the start of my final academic year, I took part in a week of work experience at a company called roofspace solutions. During my week of experience, I learn the general operations of a large-scale company and was able to gain a thoughtful insight into how construction works. In this role, I learnt how to operate various spreadsheets and helped design different roofs for houses using CAD (Computer Aided Design).
• This enabled me to learn the various skills I've noted before hand such as communication and teamwork. This experience also helped me to develop my confidence in speaking to others and getting ideas to go through!

As a trading assistant at the Redditch Branch for Sainsbury's, I worked within various sections of store ensuring all stock was put into the right area's and rotating out old stock and ensuring everything was within the correct date timeframe. I worked within a highly experienced team which guided me to understand the role itself and develop a more in-depth view into the world of customer service and stock rotations.
