I have been a self employed courier or quite some years now. I have carried out many types of tasks from multi drop local deliveries around Liverpool and surrounding areas.. I have done both local and short distance deliveries including medical deliveries and collections of medicine and healthcare products. I have done covid test kit deliveries and covid test collections from test centres across the northwestand companies, delivering them to labs all across the uk I have worked for pharmacies delivering medication including controlled drugs such as methadone and morphine based drugs. delivering prescriptions to doctors surgeries and multi drops at care Homes . I also have done a lot of highly sensitive documents deliveries I on behalf of the government despatch agency delivering to judges and probation services and government agencies across the north west area.. I prided myself in always attempting to deliver on time and if delayed inform the customer or who im working for at the earliest opportunity.i have also delivered medical equipment on behalf of Stryker international delivering to hospitals all across the uk usually on a timed delivery.i have delivered blood and organs on behalf of the n h s mob in Speke in Liverpool. these deliveries are packed in dry ice usually a 24 hour box to reserve the item inside. many of these are direct to hospital theatres or day case operations wards within the hospital. these are time critical and any delays must be reported to the office as soon as possible without any delay.
worked as a contractor at the news International site in Kirkby on behalf of imperial cleaning services.we were involved in the day to day cleaning of the site including working on the printing presses cleaning the ink fly of the machines while they were being cleaned by the printers, we were tasked with cleaning the outside of the three story presses while the news printers cleaned the rollers and printing plates on the machines. we had to be aware of the fact you were sometimes working on a running press and be mindful of health and safety of yourself and other people working around the presses to make sure you clean your stuff away as you go making sure not to leave an rags around that that could end up in the press causing damage or potential injury to staff should the press come to a forced stop by a paper break . we were required to wear headphone and protective glasses and gloves while cleaning on the working presses. I also used to clean the central control booth which operated the printing presses in a central corridor of rooms looking out on to the presses. this involved clearing any paper that had fallen from the the overhead rails that carried the paper through the plant . I had to clean all the press control panels of ink on the paper while not in use. I was not allowed to work on the control panels of the presses that we working. all the booth floors had to be brushed and buffed everyday to remove the ink foot marks from staff cross between the two press hall between the booths . we also had to clean all the ducts in the plant cleaning them with a product called van to remove the ink fly and vacuum the dust and debris from the vents.i also had a clamp truck and side reach truck licence while at news. on my days off I would sometime work in the paper reel stores loading 2 ton paper rolls onto the robots which would transport them around the factory to the presses to ensure a constant supply of paper to the running presses. I used to work in the insertion side of the press hall we we would land reels of pre loaded magazines into the achines that would insert them into the magazines with sometimes failed and would involve picking magazines off the floor if the machine failed. we would have to insert them by hand and count them papers and put them into the bundling machines..also I would do night janitorial duties cleaning the toilets and the press hall changing rooms
I was employed as at the parts manager for a local Komatsu forklift truck supplier. the daily duties included supplying parts to forklift truck engineers who serviced and repaired vehicle supplied by Komatsu to companies across the Northwest . this included ordering service parts to keep the engineers vans stocked with the correct amount of service items and consumables. I was also tasked with ordering parts overnight or sameday for broken down trucks .the was a parts counter where I would help other forklift companies engineers source and supply parts for older forklift truck used by other companies.
worked on a busy parts counter supply many chains of motor factors and tyre/ parts customers like Halfords and kwikfit and smileys tyres , meeting customer order times to ensure parts where delivered adhoc or on the morning and afternoon van runs. having to have parts collected for other factors if we did not have in stock and ensuring they reached the customers one time we also supplied a lot of specialist tools connected with the motor trade and which would involve me speaking to our rep and the reps of other companies to arrange appointments. we were also a PPG paint supplier and was one of the staff who would mix paint for customer both on the counter and for local garages and bodywork customers.
was employed as a parts counter assistant. taking phone calls from trade customers who wanted to order parts required for delivery that day and consumables for everyday use. worked on the shop counter taking enquiries from the general public who needed help with parts and comsumables
I am a keen hard working person who prides them self on working hard and being able to work as a team and alone unsupervised im motivated and enjoy solving everyday problems and issues I pride myself on speaking to people in a polite manor to both customers and other staff members I don't mind work long hours or working on my day off when required
