Since starting work at Dounreay, I learnt to work effectively in squads and on my own. My duties included:

• Working with radiation and contamination.
• Working in tyvek suits, airline suits and respirators.
• Played key roles in projects that went successful.
• Operating hand tools, overhead cranes and scissor lifts etc.
• Signalling and slinging for crane work.
• Carried out daily checks.

I worked in a team of workers involved in the construction of creels for the fishing industry. My duties included:
