Responsible for a case load of CP, CIN and Looked After Children cases. Ensuring disabled children and families have the right support and equipment in place to care for the children safely. Assessing children's needs and ensuring they have the same opportunities as their peers

Responsible for working with Child Protection and Child in Need cases, ensuring children are protected from abuse, neglect or maltreatment and establishing safe and stable environment for them.

Setting up support packages for children who had applied for short breaks via pathway one or two or those that had assessments completed by the WLD Team.

To review support packages annually to look at whether this is meeting the child and families needs.

Responsible for recruitment of Link workers and ensuring all the checks are completed and training before they were matched to children. Link Workers were offered monthly supervision and on-going training to ensure they meet the standards.
