Lead Academy Goalkeeping Coach

- My current role at Stoke City is the Lead the Academy goalkeepers, predominantly working with the U23's and U18's daily
- This role provides the best program and opportunity to progress through the phases and into the first team
- During November 2022 I stepped up for 3 weeks to the 1st team and a full-time basis
- I have gained lots of experience taking session and match days with the 1st team
- My Duties and achievements include:
- Planning and recording sessions on the PMA
- Working within a multi-disciplinary team
- Monitoring and reviewing individual player progress and objectives
- Conducting individual player game reviews
- Attending matches to observe current academy goalkeepers and targets recommended by scouts
- Mentoring other Goalkeeper coaches in the club
- Plan, deliver and review the GK syllabus
- Currently working with England's U19 GK (Tommy Simkin)
- Attending the England Talent ID GK Camp and being able to deliver a session on the final day (2019)
