Interests

I am a qualified advanced open-water scuba diver and have been diving, when possible, at various different sites since the summer of 2007. I am a big music fan and have enjoyed attending concerts and playing the bass guitar since 2003. In my spare time, I have captained a weight loss football team in a local Man Vs Fat league. I have also volunteered as an active member of the board of a homeowners association, which involved managing all aspects of the community and the needs of its owners and residents. It also regularly challenged the other board members and worked to solve problems which arose, requiring a coordinated response from various different agencies in the local area. I have also been involved in voluntary / fundraising work, for a local charity (Gearstones Lodge). My contributions in this area have varied widely from decorating new rooms at the lodge to designing and producing a calendar of Yorkshire Dales images which was sold to help finance the charity's work.
