Music

I have been playing music for the majority of my life and achieved a range of accomplishments throughout my life. I have played the violin, flute, piano, piano accordion and tin whistle and participated both socially and competitively in groups and bands. My classical music grades taught me discipline and thoroughness, all reflected in my work ethic. Playing socially in bands has taught me the fundamental idea of team work and collaboration and the need for these skills when working in a group. Taking part in competitions has demanded huge amounts of confidence, practice and resilience from myself which has been rewarded by playing 3rd, globally in the under 18 category for Irish music on the piano accordion as well as numerous other national and regional achievements.
