My responsibilities include supporting patients with daily activities such as washing, dressing, eating, and mobility while ensuring their comfort and dignity. I monitor and record vital signs, report any changes in a patient's condition, and help maintain accurate patient records. I also prepare equipment, keep wards clean and organized, and ensure infection control procedures are followed. Additionally, I provide emotional support to patients and their families, helping create a safe, compassionate, and supportive care environment.

I also had work experience at ysgol Bro pedr (Lampeter) canolfan y bont special needs centre (Lampeter) and also Teifi tots nursery (Newcastle Emlyn).

Each setting had different ages and needs. Consequently, this has given me an insight into how different educational establishments differ.

I made my own application for work experience at Glangwili hospital, radiography department which included:

- X-ray

- MRI (magnetic resonance imaging)

- CT (computerised tomography)

I was able to look at patients being examined and given the opportunity to look at patients images after whilst also adhering to patients confidentiality. This gave me the insight to the working life within a hospital setting.
