• Manages and leads a team of Services Development Coordinators to develop and run 40 national online and 90 face to face Moving Forward courses for breast cancer patients throughout Wales, the South West and West Midlands. Supporting and developing the team through monthly one to ones and annual appraisals.
• Managing the operational delivery of Moving Forward, ensuring it is delivered in line with strategic priorities, consistently and to a high standard and provides a quality user experience for people with primary breast cancer.

• Leading a team of six Community Managers, who are developed and supported to perform in their roles. Conducts monthly one to ones and annual appraisals.
• Leading and managing the development and delivery of excellent community and housing services; ensuring that Bron Afon effectively involves, plans and delivers a focused and supportive service to tenants, leaseholders and other residents of Torfaen to meet the local need.
• Adheres to the values of the organisation and puts tenants and community sustainability at the heart of the service.
• Prepares reports for consideration by the Chief Executive, Strategic Management Team and the Bron Afon Board.

• Working with external agencies such as Mind, Women’s Aid and Diabetes Cymru to enhance knowledge of issues within the community.
• Leading and planning of projects for the Health and Wellbeing arm of the team, addressing the organisations key objectives. Leading and managing the team of assistants, including personal development, monthly one to ones and annual appraisals.
• Organised and delivered a variety of excellent community events.
• Oversaw the delivery of the Neighbourhood Action Plans, facilitated and supported resident groups, meetings and identify setting up of new groups.
• Partnership working with key partners and stakeholders.

Dealt with all aspects around tenancies on a designated area, this included supporting vulnerable tenants of all ages and all vulnerabilities such as drug and alcohol dependency, mental health issues, domestic violence and child neglect. As a result of the relationship built with the local primary school and the child protection issues faced, a role as a school governor was presented whereby housing had a direct link to the education authority.

Worked closely with other agencies to help them remain in their tenancies such as Social Services, Gofal, Mind and Communities First. Addressed various issues regarding anti-social behaviour, worked in conjunction with the Police if needed and used mediation skills to resolve cases. Collection of rent arrears and supporting those affected by welfare reform.
