My unit is equipped with a 1.5T Siemens Sola, 1.5T GE and a 1.5T Philips Ambition and I rotate across these scanners where I carry out various MRI examinations of different parts of the body which include breast, brain, spine, joints, angiography studies, including paediatric cases.

  • The ultrasound unit was equipped with GE voluson S9, E8, P8, Logiq v5, Philips iU22 ultrasound scanners and being a busy fertility clinic I rotated across these machines where I carried out obstetrics ultrasound for dating, viability, placenta localization, checking of any obvious abnormality, including over all foetal well-being.
  • I also carried out abdominal ultrasound for various clinical requests like pain, vomiting etc.
  • I used the Philips portable scanner for bedside ultrasound for patients who are very unwell to help in their clinical management.
  • At the level I worked at that time, I had all my findings vetted by more experienced colleagues before sending out to the referring clinicians.
  • I observed some advanced clinical requests like anomaly scans, nuchal translucencies etc.
  • Participated actively in regular training sessions, staying abreast of developments within the field.
