Studying criminal justice at university has given me skills to work in the criminal justice sector. Acquiring skills such as learning to multitask, complete assignments on time, confident with presentations and speaking to a large group of people.

I completed the Mansfield Challenge in my first year at university. In small groups we were given a challenge from an organisation in the Mansfield/Nottinghamshire area and asked to find a solution to this problem. My group worked alongside the Violence Reduction Partnership with an aim to make communities safer and reduce violent crime. We put together a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the changes we would make to the community.
