Summary

I'm a highly motivated, creative self-starter with a diverse range of skills, developed over a 20-year career in the music industry, eight years working in library and information services, and four years working within the mental health sector.

Based on a lifelong interest in the field of mental health, the completion of three years of study in psychotherapy has led to my current practice as a CBT counsellor for a variety of agencies and charitable initiatives.

I am currently working towards accreditation with the BACP.

I have accumulated over 290 hours of face-to-face counselling experience, working with a diverse range of clients and disorders including GAD, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, OCD, social anxiety, and health anxiety.

I consider it a great privilege to be able to use my training to help those undergoing personal crises. My therapy work has been the most humbling, challenging, rewarding, and fulfilling experience of my professional life.

In my previous roles, I have worked on projects with numerous internationally acclaimed artists, engineers, and producers, both on stage and in the studio.

My work has included developing music for TONY award-nominated theatre shows, collaborating on soundtrack composition, performing on critically acclaimed Oscar and BAFTA-nominated documentaries and films, recording work on chart-topping albums, and helming projects from creative inception through to launch as a writer, arranger, and producer.

A resourceful and skilled communicator, adept at networking, relationship building, and problem-solving to deliver high-quality work under pressure.

Offering experience and creative expertise in project management, team building, and community initiatives.

I have developed unique abilities in forming new working relationships and fostering a collaborative spirit in a calm, inclusive, and affable manner. I am equally at home in leadership roles or as a team member following direction.

I am comfortable with new and changing technologies, forging careers with longevity across multiple sectors.
