In the 25 years I have been employed in Brett Martin I have acquired an extensive wealth of expertise and experience in production processes and the day to day operations and all relevant company procedures and policy
I have a proven track record of upholding high quality standards in production and am an adept problem solver who has always strove to maximise safe production levels and minimize loss and slippage and have worked closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure the department met targets including those relating to Quality Control and HSE.
I am confident in using IT and in-house software to produce reports and presentations and am comfortable with all Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
As both a Team Leader and Technical Operative, I have delivered engaging training to and monitored and reviewed the performance of hundreds of employees from diverse backgrounds and have held operational line manager responsibility including managing leave requests and absences, disciplinary procedures, assessing training needs and supporting employers to develop in their roles.
As a Team Leader, I have worked with Senior Management and Directors across the organisation, presented at Management meetings and have liaised with customers and suppliers across the world. I am comfortable interacting with all levels of staff and stakeholders and have excellent interpersonal skills and an innate ability to build rapport with others.
I hold a Counterbalance, Reach and Crane forklift licence and have been using this machinery for many years. I would be very keen to become a Fork Truck Trainer and feel that this would sit very well alongside my extensive training experience.
As a Team Leader I have been responsible for ensuring the department complied with health and safety standards, legislation and best practice and was a designated First Aider for many years.
I have demonstrated consistently that I can coach, mentor and monitor employees and support them to progress. I fully appreciate that job satisfaction and career progression opportunities are key motivators for staff and would value the opportunity to bring my extensive skills and experience to a role which allows me to contribute to driving forward excellence
