I was initially hired as a software engineer, but shortly after joining, the company decided to transition from manual to automated testing. Given my existing automation skills, I took on dual responsibilities, not only continuing my work as a software engineer but also assisting the testing team by writing and automating tests using Cypress. This allowed me to effectively contribute as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) alongside my engineering duties. Below is my responsibilities;

• Collaborating with a team of developers on the transformation of a SaaS e-commerce monolith into a microservices architecture.
• Debugs and refactors codebase to adhere to SOLID principle, thereby enhancing maintainability and efficiency.
• Writes unit and feature tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of newly developed features.
• Created comprehensive test plans, detailed test cases, and well-defined test scenarios.
• Writes, updates, and manages automated test scripts using Cypress to ensure comprehensive test coverage of web applications.
• Investigate test failures by debugging Cypress scripts and analyzing application logs.
• Conduct code reviews for automation scripts written by other team members.

• Maintains and debugs a custom e-commerce website built on the CodeIgniter framework.
• Successfully spearheaded the development of a new e-commerce website utilizing Laravel 8.
• Contribute to the maintenance and implementation of new features for a CRM application developed with Laravel 8 and Livewire, enhancing its capabilities and efficiency.
• Integrate third-party APIs, such as Payment Gateways and SMS Gateways.

• Created test plan, test cases, test scenarios and testing framework to test the developed kindle software.
• Experience in the Functional Automation and Performance Automation of the API’s and the Web services, Web Applications using Java, Selenium, SQL Server, Azure and Rest API's.
• Maintained the JIRA tool across various teams with creating, tracking, handling and resolving bugs.
• Coordinate the QA team in each release versions of Kindle reader with an updated feature.
• Accustom to changes and perform quick revise according to customer reviews.
• Designed, developed and maintained web-based applications written in Java.
• Made recommendations and developed technical design for new application features.
• Developed and test front-end and back-end of web applications.
• Modified existing software to correct errors, upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
