• During my time working as a retail assistant, I delivered excellent customer service by answering queries, providing information and ensuring that they had a good experience in the store while also making sure all of their needs were successfully met .
• I maintained a clean shop floor, promoting a welcoming, clean and hazard free environment ensuring that everyone was safe
• My strong communication skills allowed me to communicate with the clients and co-workers. This allowed me to confidently build my group work and independent work allowing me to be competent in all situations. This experience allowed me to understand the retail sector better and the importance of teamwork and professionalism in this role.

In my time at sixth form I was given the opportunity to work in a nursery for work experience. This gave me a hands on experience into the development of children.

• I assisted in promoting a safe and stimulating environment by managing nursery resources effectively and making sure the area is hazard free and safe for the children.
• I had to supervise indoor and outdoor activities and assist with meal and snack times
• Recorded and informed manager regarding injuries and accidents.

This role helped me to be more patient, understanding and also helped me to be able to deal with difficult and stressful situations.
