Oliver Jordan

I am a current Master’s student in Sports Performance Analysis at Cardiff Metropolitan University, due to graduate in January 2026, building on my completed undergraduate degree in the same field. My academic and professional journey has equipped me with a robust foundation in performance evaluation, analytical thinking, and data-informed decision-making—skills that are transferable across a wide range of roles and industries.

Through my studies, I’ve gained valuable experience analysing elite-level sport, identifying key performance trends, and presenting actionable insights. This has been further enhanced through my role as a Sports Performance Analyst with the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) Analysis Bureau, where I worked under time-sensitive conditions to code matches, support post-match review processes, and contribute to performance feedback delivery. This position developed both my technical competencies and my ability to operate within high-performance team environments.

In addition to my analytical experience, I have held a range of roles including Teaching Assistant, Events Assistant, and Barman at Boom Battle Bar in Cardiff, each contributing to my strengths in communication, teamwork, adaptability, and customer engagement. These positions have helped me develop the professional versatility and interpersonal skills necessary to excel in both structured and fast-paced, dynamic settings.
