I am a reliable, punctual, and honest person. Also, I am an accomplished with all areas of international mail handling with more than 26 years' experience of Ramp and Mail United Airlines. Operations with I am proficient in all areas relating to a smooth ground handling operation, ranging from Boardman (allocator) to Service director (Ramp and Mail). I am experienced in meeting tight deadlines for turning aircraft around safely and efficiently. In the Mail Unit, my duties include security supervisor to DfT standards, producing relevant documents, input of weights, and assigning duties to all co-workers to meet strict deadlines I moved to my current role as international mail specialist involves overseeing United Airlines international postal accounts 4 years ago. This role involves working closely with external postal stakeholders like USPS, Royal Mail, Bpost, Deutsche Post, Swisspost and other international Post accounts, US military and US state department to ensure consistency on operational, service and product delivery. Working closely with local UA sales teams and GSA’s identifying and evaluating opportunities associated with international postal uplift request, aircraft scheduling and new routes.

  • Support stations to ensure KPIs are met, including limiting scanning errors that lead to USPS compliance penalties and improving on-time performance to limit risk of USPS volume reassignment.
  • Partner with Cargo Support Services team to incorporate mail metrics into service partner SLAs.
  • Utilize new ICAIR Recognition Journal data to develop a monthly financial report linking the weekly Operational Performance scores with the associated cost implications, driving greater station awareness of the financial costs of handling discrepancies.
  • Complete station audits to validate stations are handling international mail in accordance with USPS contractual requirements, simultaneously using visits to complete additional training with locals’ ops and sales personnel.
  • Regularly attend IPC’s Working Group calls and participate in Engage Meetings.
  • Building relationships with Postal partners, working closely to identify factors contributing to service failures and implement corrective action plans.
