During my recent World Challenge expedition to Vietnam, I took part in a community initiative that assisted the villagers in the construction of a roadway which permitted easier access to their homes.


With my colleagues, we shared the tasks of digging the footings, making the cement and levelling the roadway.


This required me to communicate and collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and I had to adapt to changing circumstances and maintained a positive attitude in challenging situations (we experienced a typhoon whilst in Vietnam).


In order to fund my trip to Vietnam, I created and managed an online platform selling second hand records and vintage clothes. This has required me to organised with packing and sending parcels, I have also had to be accurate with budgeting and to develop my customer service skills.
