Company Overview: Insight Legal provides cloud-based accounting, case management and practice management software for law firms.

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, I plan, design and execute tests for the Insight product and the new features that get integrated to it.

Responsibilities:

• Draft high quality test plans covering functional and non functional scenarios
• Design, develop and running automation test scripts using Microsoft Playwright
• Implemented test framework using Mocha, Chai and Cucumber
• Proficient in handling and implementing continuous integration using GitHub, Jenkins and Docker
• Analyse test results across large projects and provide summarized analysis that can be used to improve quality and/or processes
• Collaborate with fellow test engineers and developers to understand complex problems, plan test strategies to validate such scenarios
• Conduct deployments of feature/test builds on various test servers
• Interact with support teams on reviews and analysis of latest functional requirements, resolution of reported bugs and various technical issues
• Performed test plan reviews, designed test scenarios to comply with various testing methodologies, such as unit testing, integration testing, system performance testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Performed API testing for web services, developed many test suites using JSON. Experienced in using Postman and Bruno in testing REST API’s, conducted End to End tests and Data Driven Tests

Worked on e-Commerce project which facilitates online trade for both buyers and sellers which has various tightly integrated modules. My responsibilities include verifying usability and functionality of this application.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for deriving test scenarios, preparing and executing test cases and reporting
• Participated in requirement analysis review, designed test cases based on user requirements, collaborated in daily stand-ups and work very closely with developers of the team, coordinating with the development team to ensure timely closure of UAT defects
• Organized and performed Functional, System Integration, Regression, End to End and Smoke testing
• Extensively involved in functional and regression testing and resolving critical and open bugs prior to deployment
• Involved in the testing of new core functionalities
• Closely worked with product owners and attended different ceremonies, Sprint planning meeting, Scrum, Sprint Review and Retrospective
• Expertise in using defect-reporting and defect-tracking tools (JIRA, Youtrack) on multiple versions of applications project management and defect tracking and have created test cases, logged defects, retested and documented the test result

• Conduct Quality Reviews to evaluate if the processes and deliverables fulfil the requirements for quality, to uncover errors or deficiencies in processes and deliverables, and to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement
• Worked for the company’s CMMI audit and has been outstanding with the projects presented for the CMMI certification of the company
• Managed FIFA projects, conducted intricate audits, fostering the team, worked for the quality improvements, implementations, determining issues in coordination with the associates ensuring client satisfaction
• Handled critical projects, conducted intricate audits, worked for the improvisation of the process areas and implemented them
• Drive continuous improvement of the quality system to meet and sustain compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements
• Follow up resolution of identified quality exposures and escalation to management, if critical situations are not resolved in due course
