I am a very hardworking and optimistic individual. I am looking for a job where I can utilize the skills and knowledge as a chemistry graduate that I have to carry out tasks efficiently. With a solid academic background in chemistry and experience in laboratory settings, I am keen to contribute to your team. I feel I am well suited for the role as I have a good extensive knowledge of chemistry and good working skills also. I understand the importance of good public service skills and this can be shown from my previous experience working in retail where I have dealt with many customers. I am very determined and have a lot of perseverance therefore am good at working under pressure aswell as staying calm in periods where there are very few staff members or in stressful periods. I am reliable and punctual and have shown good attendance throughout my time working. I am good with computers skills having used IT frequently in my current job to update customer records and change stock quantities. I am good at using my initiative to think and solve problems i.e to analyze the chemical makeup of substances. I am good at working individually and as a team. I am a thorough thinker and have good attention to detail which I feel is important for this role. I am a good listener and I have good verbal skills as can be seen from my previous job role. I am also responsible and I have good lab practices, I understand the correct PPE required and how to work safely in a laboratory aswell as presenting COSHH data for chemicals used. I am a hardworking individual and I am open to new tasks and new challenges. I have good analytical thinking skills which are vital for this role and important for carrying out the tasks related to this job role. I believe I meet the requirements for this role and this is a job role I am determined to pursue. I also have an interest in organic chemistry in particular and would love to extend on this and apply my knowledge to this role.
