Travel: I took time out to fulfil a lifelong ambition to travel through parts of Europe and Asia, with the purpose of experiencing and immersing myself in different cultures. My journey included time in Hong Kong and its surrounding islands, Dubai, India, Spain, and Portugal. During my travels, I stayed with host families, connected with local communities, and explored cultural practices and perspectives vastly different from my own. This experience deeply enriched my understanding of global diversity and broadened my perspective- personally and professionally. It strengthened my adaptability, communication skills, and cultural sensitivity, all of which are directly transferable to the classroom. It reinforced my passion for inclusive education and has further equipped me to connect with students from a wide range of backgrounds and faiths.
