The position entailed the installation, training, service, repair, and after-sales care of all of the company's robotic and automated products, travelling extensively daily throughout the U.K.

  • Whilst at Motoman, I was personally responsible for a large team of English and Japanese electro-mechanical engineers working at Rover Group, Swindon, carrying out major installations, repairs and modifications to six production lines, comprising 48 robots in total.
  • The role covered liaison with senior engineers from Rover Group, the major replacement of joint speed reducers, and the calibration and reprogramming of all robots to the correct programme position.
  • Collaborated with product development teams to integrate new features into existing applications.
  • Drafted reports to relay to management regarding project specifications, activities and developments.
