I am an experienced public sector leader with 30+ years delivery in public service. Over that time I have managed and led people and teams in a wide variety strategic and operational roles within the policing sector. I have managed risk and threat in dynamic environments. My specialism is public safety and security, but I have also led across a broad strategic leadership fields specialising in Community Policing. My passion has been about improving delivery of service to the public and in line with my values - improving public trust, confidence and legitimacy in all my roles. I've been the visible face of my organisation locally and I've led large scale operations including major sporting events.. I've worked in policy areas at local and national level and been responsible for resourcing some of the largest national events the UK has seen in recent years as Head of the National Police Coordination Centre (NPoCC).
