• Day to day running of the Duloch shop, ensuring smooth running of a fast paced retail shop.
• Donation processing and managing stock levels efficiently. Ensuring the best possible quality and price. Allowing the shop to be well stock and merchandised.
• Merchandising every aspect of the shop to a high standard, renewing stock as required for maximum profit.
• Promoting gift aid and its benefits. To customers and volunteers.
• Researching individual donations as required to ascertain the most profitable way to sell.(Ebay, another shop, auction etc)
• Managing a large volume of Volunteers, this has many facets. Including, training, rota generating, supporting, recruiting, nurturing & Developing. Volunteer contributions are vital to the business, cultivating good relationships ensures they're engaged & supported helping with retention & motivation.
• Working as a team and individually to a high standard to provide a excellent shopping experience for customers to help maintain maximum profit for the charity.
• Laterally using social media to engage our customer base & begin to create selling space outwith the shop walls and promote our in-store experience to generate more foot traffic.

• Daily running of the store, including but not limited to opening/closing, cashing up, banking.
• Managing sales targets, through stock rotation(decoding) redressing the shop floor, exploring customer trends.
• Donation sorting from drop off to arriving on shop floor.
• Organising and cleaning of shop floor and all back of house areas. Ordering raw stock as required and forecasting the need for it.
• Managing a large team of volunteers(no less than 30 current volunteers) This includes, ongoing training, rotas, daily tasks, supporting their individual needs etc.
• Gift aid encouraging all donors to sign up if possible.
• Being present on the shop floor to help customers.
• Building relationships with customers encouraging future visits.
• Helping to organise and run fundraising events outside of the store. This has included a very successful race night also having a fantastic stall at Dunfermline Children's gala. Always looking for new ways to raise extra funds.
• Working on our current social media page. This included posting items for sale, inviting users to ask for items, advertising current event in store. Thus creating future income out with store hours.

Duties involved-
•Greeting customer.
•Serving at the till
•Preparing and serving food/drinks.
•Maintaining clean rota.
•Following safe food and hygiene practices.
•Working in the children's play area.
•Stock rotation and stock taking.
•Accepting and checking deliveries.
•Seasonal events such as Santa's breakfasts & Easter bunny visits.
