Working within Group Legal reporting to global Head of Legal and Group Board and responsible for

Creating and delivering corporate governance programmes to ensure statutory compliance with regulatory and framework requirements e.g. ECCTA, bribery/corruption/money laundering and maintaining risk registers, business continuity programmes,producing briefings and reports to Board and producing online training modules to support learning.

• Instituting policies. processes and leveraging technology solutions to support compliance activities across all business divisions and managing team of 3 internal auditors.
• Responsible for all Environmental activities including calculating and creating carbon reduction plans and emission statements, statutory reporting and public procurement notices,
• Global head of Health & Safety including writing all policy documentation, collation and reporting of data, conducting audits of systems and managing related activities across territories.
• Creation and ongoing certification activities of ISO systems 9001/14001 and project management of 27001 ISMS.
• Placing and managing complex commercial global insurance programme whilst continually achieving significant cost savings through continuous review.
• Head of Safeguarding of large regulated workforce and lead whistle blowing investigator
• Assisting bid teams across all divisions with bespoke submissions and supporting client reviews
• Representing the business with Govt. departments (DBT/DSIT/HO/HMRC) at scheduled and ad-hoc sessions,

• Drafted and managed the H&S and risk assessments during the Covid pandemic covering 228 locations across Europe, the US and APAC including signing off returns to work in all locations
• Conducted extensive RFP and Tender process to introduce a global environmental reporting platform
• Managed team of 7 compliance and contract audit specialists
