  • I oversee and carry out the dispatch of trains in a punctual and safe manner. I work in partnership with and collaborate with train managers, drivers, signallers control and customers to achieve this in a time critical manner.
  • I engage with customers during times of disruption, utilising up to date and relevant information to provide the best possible service, to assist them to get to their destinations.
  • I engage with different train operating companies, to provide customers with alternative transport resolutions, during times of disruption.
  • I help customers who are Neuro diverse, visually impaired and have restricted mobility, utilising the ‘ASSIST App’, to provide excellent customer service, ensuring that a truly inclusive service is provided.
  • I utilise the Station Announcement System to update customers on platform changes and being pro active on changes to their train routes.
  • I have utilised my experience with conflict management, when supporting colleagues who are being threatened and abused by customers.
  • I carry out risk assessments of passengers at Gloucester Station, whom are vulnerable and are a suicide risk. I have recently prevented a vulnerable passenger from harming herself and safeguarding her, by stopping her from travelling, liaising with BTP, Signaller, Control and Station Staff.
  • I utilise Line Blocks, liaising with the signaller and staff to retrieve items items belonging to customers.
