I am a driven and seasoned leader who has a proven track record of impact regardless of the strategic remit I am tasked with. I am a relentless leader that continually strives for excellence in all aspects of my roles but also of the areas that I lead.
As an integral member of our leadership, my expertise and diligent leadership was reflected in our recent Ofsted report as it cited that 'Leaders have planned an ambitious and exciting curriculum for pupils. They place a high value on all learning across the range of subjects.' 'In every subject, leaders have thought carefully about the best ways of building pupils’ knowledge and skills over time.'
My continued drive for impact has meaning that this year will see our academies best results with predicted improvements of upwards of 20% in grades 4/5's in English and Maths. This is down to continued analyse of pupil progress and quality assurance at all levels to ensure the correct targeted intervention is available and continually reviewed.
With Delta Academies Trust being one of the largest Trust's nationally, I am the 'go to person' regarding PHSCE and the wider experiences of students. To date I have supported over 20 academies both within our trust and further afield. 5 of the academies I have worked closely with have achieved an Outstanding grading from Ofsted for their Curriculum and PHCSE design and implementation.
Successes to date -
I am currently lead on Deep Experience and Quality of Education at an Outstanding secondary Academy.
Deep Experience This includes ensuring our curriculum is woven together via the PHSCE statutory guidance as well as a robust careers, tutoring and wider experience programme. I also oversee all community engagement and stakeholder quality assurance. I analyse data to ensure that all key groups are able to access all aspects of the academy as well as work closely with feeder primary schools and colleges to ensure transition at all levels is effective.
Quality of Education This remit includes ensuring our curriculum offer not only meets statuary guidelines but is empowering for all. This is done through my diligent leadership of middle management, Teaching and Learning, Assessment, Staff CPD, Appraisals and Curriculum design and adaptations. I also work closely with our exams officer and timetable lead person to ensure our curriculum design aligns with awarding bodies.
