  • Gym & Fitness Regularly attending the gym is one of my main hobbies, where I focus on strength training and overall fitness. Going to the gym helps me develop key skills such as discipline, commitment, and goal-setting. The mental resilience I build through challenging workouts is transferable to my academic work, particularly when tackling difficult programming tasks or learning new concepts. Consistent gym sessions also help me maintain a balanced routine, giving me the energy and focus needed for my studies. Computers & Technology I have a deep interest in computers and technology beyond my academic studies. I often spend time exploring new software, learning about emerging technologies, and working on personal programming projects. This hobby enhances my problem-solving abilities and keeps me updated with industry trends, which I can then apply to my coursework. My curiosity and willingness to self-learn help me approach challenges in innovative ways, making me more adaptable and resourceful. History Studying history is a personal passion that allows me to gain insights into past events, cultures, and innovations. This interest helps me build strong research and analytical skills, as I am constantly evaluating sources and drawing conclusions from complex historical contexts. Understanding historical developments and how they shape the present allows me to think critically and view problems from different perspectives, which is beneficial when analyzing complex algorithms or systems in computer science. By balancing these three hobbies—fitness, technology, and history—I am able to maintain a well-rounded lifestyle. Each hobby contributes uniquely to my personal and academic development, providing a mix of physical endurance, technical proficiency, and critical thinking. This balance also helps me stay motivated, organized, and ready to tackle any challenge, whether it’s in my studies or personal projects.

Accomplishments

I achieved a Grade A in my Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) assignment, where we were tasked with developing a fully functional application using Java. This was particularly challenging as Java was a new programming language for me at the time. Despite initially struggling with the syntax and understanding the principles of inheritance, encapsulation, and polymorphism, I dedicated extra time to mastering these concepts through independent study and practice. The project required creating a robust application architecture while adhering to OOP best practices, which greatly improved my coding skills, logical thinking, and ability to implement complex software design patterns. Successfully completing the project with a high grade boosted my confidence in Java programming and equipped me with a strong foundation for future development tasks.
