Throughout my college course I have been in placement two days a week, including three block weeks. I am actively involved in:
- Supporting daily routines in a busy childcare environment.
- Assisting with snack and lunch supervision while maintaining hygiene standards.
- Working as part of a team to ensure children are safe, included and supported.
- Building strong communication skills through interacting with children, staff and parents.
- Regularly following health and safety procedures by completing risk asssesments and accident forms when required.
Working in a busy nursery environment has helped me develop strong time management, organisation and the ability to stay calm under pressure while completing tasks to the best of my ability.
