
I enjoy engaging in many various activity in my personal life. Some of these hobbies include horse riding, physical fitness, pilates and sports. These interests allow me to stay physically fit, enhance my mood and energy level giving me a better quality of life. I throughly enjoy exploring new destinations and cultures through travel, this has allowed me to broaden my perspective, stimulate my personal growth and created lasting memories. I also enjoy investing time in building meaningful relationship and expanding my professional and social networks, this has given me the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and cultivate valuable relationships. I believe I have obtained great personal and professional skills throughout my life, such as being able to communicate effectively with colleagues and peers, building rapport and establishing trust. I believe I hold strong problem solving skills, resilience and self awareness which have all helped me navigate various aspects of life.
As a special needs teaching assistant and support staff I worked in different schools providing individualized support and fostering inclusive learning environments for students with diverse needs. I worked alongside fellow educators enabling us to combine our strengths, ideas and perspectives to create a rich and supportive learning environment for our students.
I qualified as an eyelash technician in September 2019, which was something I always had a passion for. I began working with stylists and therapists in a salon environment which gave me immense satisfaction in collaborating with others and being part of a team.
Working as a dance and theatre teaching assistant involved supporting instructors in providing comprehensive instruction and guidance to students in artistic disciplines. I assisted in providing workshops for children to learn and explore through dance and drama which led to exciting opportunities. I was able to assist in choosing venues, plan content and gather resources and materials. As a team we created a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where participants felt encouraged to explore, experiment and express themselves.
At Aspire Learning centres & childcare my roles involved several key responsibilities aimed at supporting students academic development and helping them achieve their learning goals. Working with children aged between 5 years to 10 years of age I assisted in providing high quality tuition in maths and English. I contributed with the assessment process to understand the students current education level, preparing tests and continued learning in order to better serve my students.
At my time working in Our lady of Lourdes primary school I worked very closely with a child who had special needs and English as a second language. throughout this time I was able to use an adaptable approach to support their unique needs. It was highly important to be sensitive to the child's cultural background and experiences which impacted on their learning style. At this time I worked alongside multiple specialists such as SEN professionals, ESL teachers and speech and language therapists to develop and implement effective intervention strategies and support plans.
Working for Randstad Teaching agency involved me stepping into various classrooms and schools at primary level to provide temporary cover. Throughout this time I was able to develop my adaptability skills to different teaching environments, grade levels and subject areas. My primary responsibility was to provide support with the delivery of pre planned lesson plans or create engaging lessons on the spot if plans were not available.
As a supply teacher I worked in mainstream and special needs schools around the North West region. Working in different environments allowed me to adapt quickly to new schools, manage various challenges, manage diverse student behaviours and navigate unfamiliar school routines. My main responsibility was to support student learning and provide additional assistance to students who required individual attention to meet their learning needs.
My duties as part of the primary health care team included visiting people in their own homes along side a health visitor, primarily to support, advise and guide individuals to promote health and well-being particularly during key life stages such as pregnancy, infancy and early childhood.
As part of my studies I worked as a teaching assistant in St. Peters primary school.My duties included working closely with the classroom teacher to provide assistance with various tasks, such as preparing materials, setting up activities and supervising children during lessons and activities. I was able to lead small group activities to provide targeted support and reinforcement of learning objectives.
As a treasury operations clerk at the Bank of New York my responsibilities involved managing various financial transactions and ensuring the smooth operation of treasury functions within the organisation. I had duties to maintain accurate and up to date documentation and records related to treasury transaction, bank accounts and financial reports. Another responsibility included ensuring documentation was organised, accessible and in compliance with audit requirements.
