I am a dedicated Senior Paediatric Specialist with a strong subspecialty interest and formal training in Paediatric Cardiology. My clinical background includes over 10 years of paediatric experience across NICU, PICU, General Paediatrics, and Cardiology departments. I have completed one year of Paediatric Cardiology Fellowship and have the SickKids Advanced Cardiology Program certificate. • SickKids Advanced Paediatric Cardiology Program in 2024, I presented on “Scimitar Syndrome,” covering clinical features, diagnosis, and management strategies for this rare congenital condition.
• In another international talk during the same above program, I explored the ethical dimensions of discussing surgical risks with parents of young children undergoing major procedures, highlighting the importance of transparent, compassionate communication.

I have demonstrated leadership and quality improvement through audit and research. During my paediatric cardiology fellowship, I led an audit on echocardiography referrals, introducing a structured request form with clear clinical indications. This resulted in a 50% reduction in inappropriate referrals, improving efficiency, patient waiting times, and resource use. I also led a research study on developmental milestones in orphans, assessing 112 children with the Alberta Infant Motor Scale. We identified significant delays and recommended regular follow-up, early detection, and vitamin D supplementation. These experiences highlight my skills in audit, project management, and implementing meaningful change.

• Throughout my career, I've embraced teaching as integral to my professional practice. As a paediatric cardiology fellow and resident, I've supervised foundation doctors, and registrars through one-on-one mentorship and group sessions. I've also delivered virtual lectures on electrocardiography for paediatricians through Zoom, making complex cardiac concepts accessible for clinical practice.
