I am currently working as IMT-3 Medical registrar since 6th August 2025. I have completed 6 months of rotation in gastroenterology department where I worked in gastro ward , attended clinics and observed endoscopic procedures as well.
I am currently working in acute medicine.
From the start of IMT-3, my rota includes working in SDEC, acute take shifts including day and nights, and ward covers.
During my on calls, manage to see acutely unwell patients and supervising acute team to clerk patients in a safely manner and guiding them where needed.
I maintained procedural skills to perform LP, Ascetic tap, pleural tap and external pacing. I gained competency to perform ascetic drain during my gastro rotation.
Completed four-month rotations in oncology, endocrinology, and intensive care departments, developing expertise in patient management and specialised treatments.

This was my first NHS job. I started working as JCF in acute medicine at Queen's Hospital Burton.
