• As a front of house staff member at The Ground Coffee House I have to serve and make drinks, which I have previous experience in, as well as making the food in the kitchen. This was a new experience for me and I had to learn two different menus as we have a breakfast and lunch menu along with the allergens, how to avoid cross contamination, ensuring stock is full and in date. My favourite thing about the Ground Coffee House is it's extremely popular for regulars and I have started to build a good rapport with them. Due to recent changes within the cafe, I stepped up as being acting manager. In this position, on top of my previous responsibilities I was in charge of training a whole new team, ordering and ensuring the cafe has everything it needs to run smoothly and taking care of relevant paper work. This position has taught me key skills in building a strong team and creating a safe and positive working environment. On top of this, the position has taught me to think on my feet and solve problems calmly and effectively when they arise.

• I worked as a bartender in the restaurant Graze. As I had never worked under this title before I had to learn and teach myself everything from our wide range of alcoholic drinks, how to make different cocktails, recommending specific drinks based on the customers likes and dislike and the procedures and expectations of the company. I also picked up a couple of shifts as a waitress as this was a skill I wanted to learn.
• Followed alcohol awareness procedures for preventing excessive guest intoxication.
• Kept bar presentable and well-stocked to meet customer needs.
• Recruited and trained new bartenders and barbacks to help maintain talented team.
• Verified drinking age requirements of customers by carefully reviewing photo identification.

• I worked at Mrs Potts Chocolate House in Bath. I was a front of house staff which meant I did everything from serving customers, preparing their orders, ensuring all food is up to company standard, making sure the tables are clear and prepared for the next customer and I am also a fully trained barista. While working at Mrs Potts I've had to help train new employees on company standards and procedures, cater to every customer's needs while educating them on new products and making recommendations based on their likes and dislikes.
• Inspected stocks to identify shortages, replenish supply and maintain consistent inventory.
• Resolved guests complaints while maintaining positive customer environment.
