I am a dedicated student, and young person who wishes to care for, and make a difference to the quality of care and life of others. I am committed to continuing my learning as well as putting this learning into practice in care settings. I like the company of other people, I like to feel useful and helpful and love being able to connect with those in my care. I have experience of caring for the elderly and have two younger disabled siblings who have taught me much, including the benefits of patience, tolerance and humility.
This position involves hard manual work in all weathers and at all times of the day and night. It is a position that requires strength, stamina and the ability to adapt to the different crews, weather conditions and wishes of the boat owners or skipper.
This role was focused on helping residents have quality care and support in order to allow them to enjoy each day and live well. To assist residents with daily living providing care, support and companionship.
