• Gather and collect used glasses and waste both inside and outside the club
• Load glasses into the dishwasher for cleaning
• Keep the bar stocked up on glasses
• Chat to customers and be a friendly face
• Keep tables and bar area clean and tidy

• Keep all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls) clean and sanitized
• Sweep and mop floors at the beginning and ending of shifts
• Be ready to clean up spills to avoid disruption in kitchen
• Wash cookware, utensils and cutlery fast to keep them constantly available
• Keep the food and supply storage areas organised
• Manage waste and empty bins
• Help with routine food prep tasks (such as peeling and chopping vegetables) when needed

• Deliver newspapers to local residents

• Load heavy bundles of papers into the carrier sack

• Keep a record of each delivery made, to hand over to the store manager/supervisor at the end of the week

• Collect cash payments in case of rural orders or to support elderly members of the public

• Gather unsold newspapers and assist in crediting newsdealers’ accounts
