Led a Construction business management team, which involved the management of a simulated construction business environment and successfully navigated all the teamwork and technical complexities to achieve 75% business success as rated through a point-based rating system. Coordinated class activities to reflect leadership skills while ensuring efficient team management during class activities. Instinctively led my teammates in Business management simulation project to deliver a virtual construction business and ensure profitability and competitiveness. Carried out an investigation into the causes and effects of cost overruns in construction projects in Nigeria and UK. The comparative study analysed the similarities and differences in approach to construction cost management practice in both Nigeria and UK. Attended a leadership training course at the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre in Lagos, Nigeria where I attained “Excellent” rating in leadership skills. Engaged in civil society activities including Amnesty International, YALI Network, Raising New Voices Initiatives and prominently partook in the formulation of the “Not too young to run” bill in the Nigerian National Assembly which ensured that age limitations on leadership positions were reduced to allow for a more inclusive participation by young people in the political process. Joined the campaign by Raising New Voices Initiatives to strategize, crowdfund and raise awareness for young people across political parties who contested in the 2019 General Elections in Nigeria.
