I have excellent work experience with track, signals and telecommunications (S&T), piles work, and material control within Infrastructure projects. I want to make a positive contribution to a progressive organization that will support me to reach my potential. I am currently I am studying Railway Engineering Maintenance to improve my Skills in the railway industrial.
Inspect railway tracks and associated structures for wear and damage. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including replacing worn-out rails, fasteners, and ballast. Conduct track realignment and re-ballasting as needed. Respond to emergency track repairs as required. Work with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and safely. Coordinate with supervisors and other railway staff to address issues and prioritize maintenance.
Volunteered to present railway infrastructure steps to students in Glasgow schools.
Involved in three projects in western Saudi Arabia: all 3 involved checking materials and the turnout installation; checking welds and carrying out final inspections with the client. At this time, I was in charge of a team of 25-30 multi-national personnel. Dealt with government client, coordinated with sub-contractors, monitored staff, and oversaw installation of railway track. I enjoyed the many different responsibilities that these jobs brought me, and I felt that I expanded my knowledge and skills regarding the railway and also in terms of managing others.
Checked the replacement railway line in the CTW 120 project in west Saudi Arabia. This also involved testing materials for the site. Supervised and consulted with laying of track over 120kms in desert terrain, in temperatures of 50 C. Verified standard of work for the project, according to AREMA standards. Administered S&T work for fibre optic cables over 120kms, with a team of 10 personnel.
Managed the (CTW) 320 Project North in Saudi Arabia, involving 128 km of main line. This also included 2 marshalling yards. Installed S&T work, including manholes and crossing under tracks, for fibre optic cables for over 128kms. Co-ordinated a multi-national team of 25 personnel.
