Two weeks of work experience in the Planning & Sustainable Economy department for a local authority.
- Attended meeting with parish council to discuss local infrastructure priorities
- Accompanied a planning officer on site visits to view a proposed extension and discuss the homeowner's plans
- Joined an online meeting with a company to discuss producing a new social value platform for the Council
- Visited the site of a major shopping centre redevelopment with the Assistant Director
- Reviewed Green Travel Plans for staff produced by other local authorities to get ideas for the Council's own plan
- Provided support for a Developer Liaison Group meeting by welcoming guests and helping with the smooth running of the event.
